The winter carnival that kindness built

Frosty Fest

Held Annually On Family Day Weekend

Frosty Fest has become one of Brantford’s anchor annual events seeing 15,000 attend yearly.  It’s a celebration of community life in the winter.  This three day festival was created simply to fill a need and as a way to serve the city in the spirit of kindness… but has now ballooned into one of the largest winter carnivals in Ontario.

“Frosty Fest truly captures the fresh, new, celebratory spirit that is invading Brantford these days.  It takes about 100 volunteers to make it happen over the 3 days but the team from Freedom House does it with more than just a smile… they do it with an addictive passion’” Pastor Brian Beattie of Freedom House

“This weekend blows me away.  It’s one of the few times over the course of the year that the community truly comes together to celebrate.  There are families of all sizes and styles that simply enjoy the weekend and the weather as one.  Go Brantford!” Dave Carrol Freedom House/Director of The Kindness Project
